California Tours » Terms and Conditions Making a reservation and payment of deposit constitute agreement by customer to Terms and Conditions of Tours of California. PAYMENTA non-refundable deposit of $300 per person is required to hold space for you on the tour. Payment in full is due at least 60 days in advance of tour departure date. If final payment is not received by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled and you will forfeit your full deposit. Full payment is due at time of booking for any reservations made within 60 days of the departure date. Tours of California accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. In the case of billing errors (human or computer), Tours of California reserves the right to re-invoice with correct pricing. CANCELLATION POLICYCancellation fees will be applied if you cancel your tour. All cancellations will have fees applied, no exceptions. The cancellation fee schedule is as follows: CHANGE OF DATE FEEDue to expenses incurred, we cannot guarantee that changing the date of your tour is possible. If arrangements can be made with suppliers, we are happy to change your tour for a fee of $50.00. If arrangements cannot be made to offset our incurred expenses, our regular cancelation policy will apply. TAXES, FEES AND GRATUITYAll gratuities for local guides, restaurant waiters and hotel porters are included in the tour price. Gratuities for your Driver and Tour Director are not included, and are greatly appreciated. INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICEFeatures included in the tour price include (but are not limited to): transportation by luxury motor coach, commentary by professional Tour Director, hotel accommodations, meals outlined in itinerary, entrance to attractions detailed in itinerary. NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICETour price does not include air travel and related costs (including airport transfers and baggage fees), insurance, country entry and exit fees, visa and passport fees, food and beverages not detailed in the tour itinerary, hotel incidentals (phone, minibar, in room movies), gratuities to Driver and Tour Director, and all items of a personal nature. MEALS, GROUND TRANSPORTATION, AND ACCOMMODATIONSIncluded meals are listed on the tour itinerary. Breakfast is included everyday. Touring is by luxury, air conditioned motor coach, with onboard restroom. Hotel guest rooms generally have two beds. A limited number of single bed rooms will be available. Triple rooms are usually two beds, but a rollaway may be available (not guaranteed). Substitute hotels of similar quality may be used at certain times. LUGGAGE AND PORTERAGEEach traveler is permitted one piece of luggage weighing no more then 50 lbs. In addition, one personal/day bag may be brought as a carry on. Bags with wheels and/or telescoping handles are not permitted to be used as carry on bags. Tours of California is not responsible for loss or damage to your possessions. Tours of California is not responsible for additional fees imposed by airlines. Porterage for your one bag is included at each hotel stay. Porterage at airports is not included. TRAVELERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDSGuests requiring special assistance need to notify Tour of California in writing at the time of booking. Any person needing special assistance must be accompanied by an able travel companion. Tours of California cannot provide individual assistance for personal needs, nor can Tours of California provide personal devices (such as a wheelchair). Not all sightseeing stops/sites accommodate wheelchairs, and some locations and activities require extensive standing, sitting, or walking. Tours of California is not responsible for any missed activities due to a participant's inability to participate with the group. TRAVELERS UNDER 18All travelers who are under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult guardian and must share the adult's accommodations. Children under 8 years old are not eligible to be guests. PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTSNon U.S. citizens, please check passport and visa requirements (http://travel.state.gov) before booking your trip. Tours of California is not responsible for for providing you with visa or passport information, and cannot be held liable for any passenger refused entry due to incorrect, or lack of, documentation. CHANGE IN ITINERARY/TOUR CANCELLATIONTours of California reserves the right to cancel or change the tour and itinerary at any time for any reason. If a departure is cancelled, Tours of California's liability will only be for the amount paid for the tour. Tours of California will try to rebook the same vacation on another departure date. Tours of California is not responsible for any additional costs or fees incurred due to cancellation of a tour. Therefore, we reccommend you buy airline travel insurance when booking your flight. RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of Tours of California ("Operator") are as follows: 2. Various suppliers ("Suppliers") provide services to the Operator. The Operator does not own or operate any of these Suppliers, and they are not agents or employees of the Operator. Operator is not liable for any damage, including personal injury, from any cause or omission by Suppliers. 3. Operator is not liable for any negligent or unauthorized acts by travel agents or travel agencies. 4. Operator is not responsible for costs of medical care required while on tour, nor is Operator responsible for the quality (or lack of quality) of the care provided. 5. Any dispute between participant and Operator shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Legal proceedings may only be instituted in State or Federal Court in the State of California. 6. Operator reserves the right to accept of reject any person as a tour participant, at any time before or during the tour. |
